My children study at GD Goenka Dwarka.
This is a school where still teachers beat the children, though not like they do in government schools but suffficient enough to INSULT a child.
The senior students create nuissance(including physical harm) to small kids, inside the waiting room (for students coming by car), but the teacher-in charge remains silent.
It has been 2 years, the school does not have a swimming pool and seems to be botherless about it.
Starting from the acadmic session 2010, I have closely observed that the copies of my children have not been checked. Sometimes they go unchecked by the teacher for 10-15 days at a stretch.
There are some classes where there are no doors, just like some battered government school but with a Central A/C. 2 months of vacations have passed by and 2 years have been lost yet that is the state of affairs.
In the end , however I will admit that my children did extremely well in the beginning and the school was excellent. Now also my children perform good but the school has become careless. Today they are performing good only because of the initial good staff and commitment of the previous principal (now Director, I guess). Even the current principal was doing great in the beginning. I really do not know what has happened but things are not same as earlier.
The school is busy constructing buildings. Unless the school changes its attitude, many students are planning to jump the fence.

I loved shopping at this place. If you are tourist, this is a good place to get cheap indian ethic stuff - like wall hangings, jewelry, kurtis, purse and other decoration items and handicrafts.
Of course, bargaining is a must here esp if you look like a tourist. Be prepared to quote 1/4 or even lower of the quoted price than is initially quoted by the seller.

Harvard Public School is a excellent school in delhi. It is equiped with all the modern facilities including smart classes , computer labs computer oriented teaching . Sports and fitness activities are also given inportance. It is an excellent school . The staff of school is very caring. It is a very good school for a child who wants to have a bright future.

I would like to share my experience with The Grand Central at Karol baug.
I checked in at 29th Jan 2010 stayed there for 2 days and ended up paying for 3 days as the owner [Owner name] didn't keep his promise. He promised me that he would provide me a late check out on 31st Jan 2010 but vanished just before we were about to check out and took advantage of the situation and made us pay through our nose.
Also the service is so 'bad' that I would never recommend any of my friends or colleagues to ever go there. The food was bad and so was the service.
Guys even at gun point please don't ever try this hotel. [Owner name] promised me that my stay would be like home but that was only before I made the payment. Immediately after making the payment I realized that I have been tricked and cheated.
None of the promises made by [Owner name] came true.
So please guys if you are planning to stay in karol baug eliminate this fake starred hotel. You wouldn't regret doing it. Don't waste your hard earned money on them, they are not worth.
